Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who plays the lead opposite superstar Rajnikanth in his forthcoming film Endhiran, is so overwhelmed with the actor, that before taking her leave on the last day of the shoot, she bid goodbye to him in a true blue traditional Indian style. Reportedly the actress touched his feet and seeked his blessing, because according to her, she saw a father figure in him.
The actress has been shooting with Rajnikanth for this magnum opus for almost two years now and reportedly shared a great rapport with him. And he, on the other hand, being a senior, treated her almost like a daughter. Also, they further bonded due to the the fact that Rajnikanth and Amitabh Bachchan have been great friends for so long.
The film, directed by Shankar, has been made on a grand scale. In fact there is buzz that the budget has grossed the 100 crore mark. The makers plan to release the film with 2,000 prints all over the world. And the last week of July will mark the music release to be held in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. Oscar winner A.R. Rahman has provided the musical score for Endhiran.
