Miley Cyrus Slams Engagement Rumors

Miley Cyrus has effectively slammed the engagement rumors that have been floating around on celebrity gossip websites these past few days by clearly stating that she is not engaged to her boyfriend, LIAM HEMSWORTH.

Miley got the Internet all worked up after she tweeted a photo of her hand sporting a giant, engagement ring-worthy rock on the appropriate finger last week… which she again wore to an event that she attended with her beau, Liam.

Predictably, rumors that the young couple had gotten engaged started flying.

Sorry to burst your bubble, Miley and Liam fans… but they’re not.

Cyrus took to Twitter today and wrote,“I’m not engaged. I’ve worn this same ring on this finger since November! People just wanna find something to [talk] about! It’s a topaz people!”

So despite the fact that it looked like an engagement ring, and the fact that she was wearing it on her engagement ring finger, Miley‘s “engagement ring” is nothing more than a simple accessory.
