This Akshay and Himesh Reshammiya’s production venture is an action comedy and Asin plays the role of Mithun’s sister. Mithun’s character is named Tatya Tukaram Tendulkar and Aisn plays the role of Maya Tendulkar.
In one of the elaborate wedding sequences in the film, Asin got dressed up in a navvari green kashta sari, mundavalya (bridal jewellery), chandrakor (crescent moon) bindi and nathni (nose ring studded with pearls and beads) and green glass bangles. This was quite in contrast with her earlier bridal lehengas which she wore for her earlier films like ‘Ready’ and ‘Housefull 2’.
Picking up the Marathi accent and the customs was quite a task for the actress who turned up to her Marathi co-stars and crew members for help.
