Priyanka Chopra is known to be quite a professional, for the actress has never hesitated in experimenting with her looks in most of her Bollywood outings so as to suit her role the best. However, it seems that Piggy Chops has become too finicky now, as the actress has backed out of an upcoming biggie only because she did not want to chop her hair for the sake of her role in the same.
Priyanka, who once did not mind looking perhaps her worst in a couple of scenes from Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘What’s Your Rashee’, has now refused to chop her hair for Basu’s next venture ‘Silence’. And believe it or not, but the actress has actually quit the film as she couldn’t give in to the demand of her character in the movie, according to the buzz.
Reports reveal Priyanka was roped in to play the role of a deaf and dumb girl in ‘Silence’, and filmmaker Anurag Basu wanted the actress to cut her hair for the same to ensure that her look goes well with the character. However, PC flatly turned down his request making it very clear that she would not snip her hair for the role.
Grapevine has it that previously, Priyanka had really angered her dad when she coloured her hair red for ‘Love Story 2050’. So the actress apparently doesn`t want to take any chances this time round.
Well, looks like Basu too is as headstrong as Priyanka, as for him, the role just cannot be changed. Now, since the filmmaker is looking for someone who flaunts short hair, guess Deepika could really get lucky. What say?
