Bollywood star Akshay Kumar was left jostling for space recently by a bunch of girls at a night club, where the actor showed up as a DJ, to play his favourite songs from the 1970s as part of the promotional campaign for his upcoming movie 'Action Replayy'.
The actor was mobbed to the extent that the girls ended up tearing his classic retro golden jacket to get clicked with him.
'The moment Akshay entered the club, there was a roar among the people present at the place... there was this bunch of young girls who insisted on clicking pictures with him but the photo session went a bit out of control and Akshay's jacket got torn in a place,' Vipul Shah, producer-director of the movie, said in a statement.
Akshay, however, was left laughing at the incident and was seen without his jacket throughout the remaining night. Also present with him were co-actor Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shah.
