Another former employee sues Britney Spears




A woman who worked for one month in Britney Spears' household in 2007 is accusing the pop singer of owing her pay and has filed a lawsuit demanding what she says she is due.

USA TODAY's Lorena Blas here, checking in with some celebrity items this Saturday morning. Ferial Zaltash says in court papers that she's owed $35,202 for services rendered after being hired as an assistant and nanny, reports E! Online. Oh, and Zaltash is also seeking $19,940 for penalties for unpaid wages and overtime work.

Singer Mario has been charged with assault after an incident early Friday with his mother, Shawntia Hardaway, reports the Baltimore Sun. The singer's struggle with his heroin-addicted mother was the subject of an MTV special.
