Christian Bale talks about his shoulder length hair and semi-beard at the Golden Globes on Sunday. Christian isn’t letting his hair grow for an upcoming role, he’s just doing it for the fun of it!
“In truth, you know what this is? This is unemployment, this is all this is,” Christian told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush backstage after he picked up his Best Performance By An Actor In A Supporting Role Award for “The Fighter.”
“I haven’t worked since ‘The Fighter,’ and it’s nice to just not bother cutting your hair. When you’re [not] in a job that everything always has to be, you know, worked out for a character, I just sort of let it all hang out, but it’s unemployment, that’s all it is.”
Even if you like his long do chances are, it ain’t going to stick. As Christian heads to China for his new movie ” The 13 Women of Nanjing” in a couple weeks’ time. After that he’ll be starring in “The Dark Knight Rises.”
