If sources are to be believed then the rift between actress Manisha Koirala and her Nepali businessman husband, Samrat Dahal has deepened even further. It’s been over two months that Manisha has not returned to her husband. Not only that, if rumours are to be believed then Manisha is taking a second shot at Bollywood as a filmmaker after the failure of her first Nepali film.
“Manisha has no plans to be a housewife. In fact, she is looking at establishing herself as a film-maker even down South. So, it appearsthat Manisha will be flitting between Nepal and Mumbai for her work,” the source added.
Manisha was recently spotted in Goa where her first Malayalam film Electra was screened, which she’s keen to re-make in Bollywood with a medium-sized budget.
“Samrat (her husband) is adamant that she return to Nepal. But the plans that she has unveiled leave little scope for a marital life,” says her friend.
The source also adds that had her parents not intervened, Manisha would’ve served a divorce notice by now.
