Salman Khan's cameo Tanu Weds Manu has been edited out of the final cut. This comes as a surprise because he is one of the most sought after stars in the industry today, especially a fter the hit Dabangg.
A highly placed source reveals, "Salman plays one of the prospective grooms to Tanu (Ranaut's character in the film). But his cameo was nowhere to be seen in the film's final cut."
Buzz is that producer Boney Kapoor asked director Anees Bazmee to flesh out his smaller role in No Entry to that of a main lead in the film’s sequel.
However, the relationship between Ranaut and Khan seems to be going through a rough patch yet again. “Salman plays one of the prospective grooms to Tanu (Ranaut’s character in the film). But his cameo was nowhere to be seen in the film’s final cut,” reveals our source.
Director Anand Rai explains, “We were planning something which we wanted to keep under wraps till the film’s release. But now the surprise element is lost. Only big banners can manage to keep their surprise elements well under wraps.”
