With stars like Akshay Kumar and John Abraham on board, there is bound to be some breathtakingaction in Eros International’s Desi Boyz also starring Deepika Padukone and Chitrangda Singh.
For a song sequence in the “dramedy” the two actors put themselves at a huge risk and shot a helicopter scene without a harness .In attempt to make the shot look even more realistic ,Akshay and John decided to shoot for the title track without a harness as it would show against their white clothes. Shot over a crowded city near a helipad under the guidance of stunt coordinator.
Mahendra Varma, the expensive shot involves the lead actors standing against the open door of the chopper minus any strapping Confirming the news producer Krishika Lulla of Eros International says, “They were at a height of about 30 floors. Rohit (Dhawan) was a super stressed director but Akki and John were confident they'd pull off the one-take shot that was so badly needed for the title track.“
