Kim Kardashian has received the dubious honor of the 'Most Ill-Mannered Person of 2011' title from the National League of Junior Cotillions.
The NLJC said that the reality star was chosen "for making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage," according to the New York Daily News.
"The annual selections are based on the demonstration of dignity, honor, and respect," NLJC National Director Elizabeth Anne Winters said in a statement. "Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, was chosen for the exemplary manner in which she has conducted herself, before and after her marriage to Prince William."
Other celebs who made it on this year's "Best Mannered" list include Justin Bieber for "consistently showing courtesy to his fans," Paula Abdul for her "encouragement to aspiring entertainers" and Taylor Swift (who has been on the list three years in a row) for "inspiring young people with her music and her manners."
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star filed for divorce on October 31 at a Los Angeles court, 72 days after getting married to husband Kris Humphries on August 20 in Montecito, California.
Meanwhile, Humphries visited "Good Morning America" with his mother, where they baked cookies in a cooking segment and the basketball player said that he is "moving forward" from his relationship with Kardashian and plans to concentrate on basketball.
Kardashian recently opened up about relationships and children in an interview with Glamour magazine and seems to have been shaken by the failure of her marriage.
"I think I'll always be a hopeless romantic...It means that I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed. I think I need to not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic." Kardashian told Glamour magazine for its January issue.
"I always wanted what Mom and Dad had," Kim Kardashian said, referring to her mother Kris Jenner and biological father Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003 from esophageal cancer. The couple divorced in 1990 and Jenner went on to wed Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner in 1991.

Last year's premiere of the series, a spin-off of E!'s "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," was watched by about 3 million viewers.
