According to recent reports, an anonymous buyer is currently trying to purchase the rights to Kim’s sex tape from Vivid Entertainment, saying that they’re willing to offer a huge amount of money to “completely remove it from the market.”
TMZ tells us that Vivid Entertainment’s Steve Hirsch reportedly received a letter from a lawyer in Tennessee, who was hired by the anonymous buyer. The letter reads,“I was approached by a private party who has asked us about looking into the possibility of acquiring all rights of the Vivid, ‘Kim Kardashian Sex Tape.’
The party we represent does not intend to distribute or broadcast the ‘tape,’ but hopes to completely remove it from the market.”
The mystery buyer wants all—and we mean all—the footages involving Kim Kardashian, including the raw, unused scenes that were not included in the DVD. The buyer’s lawyer adds,“We would purchase any other footage you may have control of that involves Ms. Kardashian.”
No mention of Kim’s “partner” in the tape, who was her then-boyfriend, Ray J.
So is Kim the mystery buyer? Sources close to the reality star refuse to spill… but she did acquire loads of dough from her wedding, so it’s a definite possibility.
