‘Missing’ Veena Malik found at a Mumbai hotel

Pakistani actress Veena Malik had sent a lot of people in a tizzy after she went missing on Friday morning. She has at last been traced to a hotel in Juhu in suburban Mumbai.

“Veena Malik is in Oakwood hotel. She has registered in the hotel by her real name Zahida and she has all the papers. She was unwell for a couple of days,” Machendra Bodke of Juhu police station told media persons.

Veena had been 'missing' from Friday morning while shooting for the film Mumbai 135 Kms in Goregaon. The actress shot from 6pm on Thursday night to 5.30 am on Friday morning but left before completing the shoot and without informing anyone. She even switched off her phone thereafter.

She was reportedly unable to concentrate on her work due to “personal reasons”.

Veena Malik has been in the thick of a controversy over having allegedly posed nude for a magazine shoot. She denied having bared it all. She is now set to appear on an Indian TV show ‘Veena Ka Vivaah’ in which she will get to choose her groom.
