Why Hrithik Roshan can’t dance in 'Agneepath'?

Hrithik Roshan can’t dance, saala! Why? Well, Agneepath has in fact no scope for Hrithik to show his dancing skills. Producer Karan Johar explains why it wasn’t possible for Hrithik to gyrate like Katrina Kaif or Priyanka Chopra in the movie.

Though his character of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan is entirely different from Agneepath’s earlier protagonist played by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, the 2.0 version of ‘Agneepath’ can’t have Hrithik dancing.

Karan Johar, while talking about Hrithik Roshan in ‘Agneepath’, says, “Not at all! Our character of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan cannot just start dancing! It’s absolutely against the character.”

Johar also jokes that his director Karan Malhotra might have killed him if he had even suggested a dance number on Hrithik Roshan. But Karan Johar funnily reveals how he still tried to influence the director by dropping hints like ‘who naach kyu nahi sakta?’, ‘usse kuch toh karao gaane mein!’

Hrithik Roshan plays a very intense character in the film and his strength is silence. With the second theatrical promo of ‘Agneepath’ coming with Don 2, Karan Johar says that the audience will be able to see more of his character’s intensity and emotional anger. The makers have intentionally kept it slow and are doing it in stages. So, by the end of it when the masses get to see the film, they will be prepared for the character Hrithik is playing.

Still, we know it’s hard for Hrithik Roshan’s fans to not see him dancing.
