Kareena Kapoor has taken a dig at Katrina Kaif not off-screen but on-screen. The actress had a dialogue in her film, ‘Heroine’ where she took a dig at the actress of foreign origin similar to Katrina Kaif.
In Madhur Bhadarkar's ‘Heroine’, Kareena plays a successful actress and it is during a scene she took a dig at Katrina. A source reveals from the set of ‘Heroine’ that there is a scene in ‘Heroine’ where Kareena Kapoor was questioned by journalist. One of them asked her to comment about a foreign actress who has climbed the ladder of success in Bollywood.
Kareena Kapoor who is playing actress Mahi said the leading actress (Katrina) has climbed up the success ladder only because her boyfriend is a top star (Salman Khan). She even went to say that her passport needs to be checked to identify her real name, age and country of origin. We all know that Madhur Bhandarkar is a realistic filmmaker, his films are always inspired by real life character and real life incident. This particular scene that he incorporated in the film is not out of illusion but it happened in actuality.
If we turn down the pages, we will remember that this very comment about Katrina was made by Deepika Padukone on the TV show ‘Koffee with Karan’ which stir the film industry.
The source also informed that when Madhur narrated the scene to Kareena, she was reluctant to do but when Madhur Bhandarkar won the confidence of Bebo and explained logically that there is nothing wrong in the scene as there are many aspiring actresses coming to India to try their luck in Bollywood.
Well, we will get to see how Kareena took a dig at Katrina on-screen only when ‘Heroine’ will hit the silver screen in September.
