A Tamil newspaper had put out a story that Bollywood actress Genelia has gone to Colombo for the IIFA. But Genelia says she is very much in Mumbai and is busy with one of her endorsements.
Chirpy Genelia has denied media reports that said she had gone to IIFA in Sri Lanka defying the sentiments of Tamils and the decree of SIFCC.
Genelia is said to be very much in Mumbai busy with her commitments. The bubbly actress said she was supposed to perform with some top stars but opted out of the event because she didn’t want to hurt the sentiments of Tamil people and of her love for Tamil cinema.
Genelia is expected to go Chennai this weekend for her work commitments.
