Following an outburst from Pawan Kalyan fans against a controversial picture posted in Twitter by director Ram Gopal Varma from a scene belonging to his ongoing film Rakta Charitra, the director has apparently decided to remove the scene showing Paritala Ravi (Vivek Oberoi) tonsuring the head of an unknown character.
According to rumours, the sequence replicates a real-life incident where the outlawed messiah Paritala Ravi had kidnapped Pawan Kalyan in real life a few years ago and tonsured him over a land dispute.
"In the shot, we don’t even show the face of the guy who is being tonsured. So what are these protests about? How can anyone conclude it is Pawan Kalyan we are showing? Yes, there were rumors of such an incident in real life. But nothing was proved," RGV said. However, the offending scene is now likely to be deleted from Rakta Charitra.
