Vidya Balan Bollywood star with really good films like Parineeta, Paa, Ishqiya etc to her credit has refused an offer to be Vikram's heroine.
‘Madrasapattinam’ Vijay who will be starting his next project with Vikram has approached Vidya Balan for the film. But the actress refused the film right at the out set saying she is not interested in doing Tamil films. She did not even hear the script.
We think she missed a rare chance. But she may have her valid reasons for her aversion to Tamil film industry.
Vidya Balan was first signed for Lingusamy’s film ‘Run’ opposite Madhavan. But she was replaced with Meera Jasmine for undisclosed reasons. Later she was signed for the Aascar Films ‘Manasellam’ opposite Srikanth. But again she was unceremoniously dropped after a few days of shoot and replaced with Trisha.
Ironically the same banner which rejected her for ‘Manasellam’ later approached her for ‘Dasavatharam’. But this time Vidya refused and Asin played her part.
