Salman Khan recently announced the launch of his new foundation whose aim is to generate funds for the underprivileged people. But that has hugely upset Somi Ali, his ex-girlfriend.
Actually it was journalist-activist-designer Somy who initially launched ‘Human Being’ in March 2007. We hear that Somy was shocked when she read the news about Salman’s ‘Being Human’ launch. He had just changed the words around from her campaign.
Somy’s collections were never a secret and even the Indian media had covered her initiative extensively. So obviously, Salman knew about it. She was taken aback when she found out that he had deliberately copied all her ideas.
And now she feels Sallu has back-stabbed her.
Somy Ali has been active with Charity activities for a long time now. 10% of the revenue from her clothing company So-Me Designs goes to funding her not-for-profit organisation No More Tears Inc that helps domestic violence victims.
