Taylor Swift turned her “Speak Now” North American tour rehearsal into a concert to lobby for tornado relief, and she raised $750,000 from Nashville, Tennessee for the tornado-tormented Southeast!
Not even Justin Bieber who braved the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear-ravaged Japan, or Miley Cyrus, who vaunted her braless self across South American for “Gypsy Heart” could be so generous to the people back home…
Celebrity news reports that the 21-year-old country pop star, singer-songwriter, and actress decided to sell tickets to the final dress rehearsal of her “Speak Now” tour, turning it into a humanitarian concert to benefit people in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, Virginia and Louisiana, who were hardest hit by tornadoes that ripped through the Southwestern states the previous month.
Swift was able to raise $750,000 for tornado relief, all from ticket sales!
